The Trafalgar Tavern sits on the banks of The River Thames and has been a welcoming sight for visitors to Greenwich for over 150 years. The character and charm of this magnificent building remains unchanged making it a perfect venue for weddings.
All our menus, designed by our talented executive chef, use the freshest seasonal produce available. You can choose a variety of options; from a formal three-course meal to a buffet or finger food. Take a look at our wedding brochure for example menus and drinks packages.
Our knowledgeable wedding advisors can also provide details for fabulous, tried-and-trusted wedding suppliers including; audio-visual facilities, floral design, photography, cakes, stationery and entertainment. Whatever kind of celebration you have in mind we can bring your dream wedding to life.

The Twilight Package

Our Twilight Wedding Package offers a romantic evening event with ceremony from 6pm (if requested), a drinks reception and generous buffet style meal from 7pm - midnight.
What this package includes:
You will have exclusive access to our private events floor, private bar overlooking the River Thames, cloakroom and washroom facilities. Within this package, we include tables, chairs, buffet cutlery, crockery, table linen, food and beverage service and your very own wedding coordinator to help every step of the way.
Drinks and dining:
The Twilight Package inlcudes a buck's fizz or mulled wIne reception, hot fork buffet, hog roast or BBQ-style menu. Food and beverage upgrades are available on request and all dietary requirments are catered to.
The Twilight Package is available from Monday - Wednesday, last-minute bookings are welcome. Civil ceremeonies are only available from 6pm.
Dreamy Winter Wedding
The Nelson Room is an iconic space to host your upcoming event. The floor-to-ceiling windows offer an unrivalled view of London and an unforgettable backdrop for corporate events, parties, weddings and private events.
Allow your gaze to shift between east of the Thames ebbing and flowing, and west, capturing arguably one of London's most beautiful sunsets. Once guests ascend our photography award-winning staircase to the first floor, the Nelson Room and Hawke and Howe bar opens up to offer panoramic river views.
The rooms can be hired exclusively and are ideal for business breakfasts, private parties and weddings for up to 350 guests.
What this package includes:

Drinks and Dining:
A shared meal is one of the most important elements of any wedding day. At the Trafalgar Tavern, all of the food is prepared on the premises, using the finest ingredients available. Our wedding menus have been designed with an emphasis on simple, elegant presentation.
This package applies to a total of 60 day guests and 40 evening guests and includes;
- One welcome drink (bottled beer, glass of Pimm’s, fruit punch or mulled wine) per person
- Three-course sit-down wedding breakfast for up to 60 guests
- ½ bottle of house wine
- ½ bottle mineral water
- Prosecco, to toast
- Evening buffet
This package is applicable between Nov 2020 and May 2021 only.
